The Flint Family and the Post Office

Fred and Elsie Flint where from Eastrington where their daugther barbara was also born.
They moved to Withernwick to take over the village post office c1939.
They remained until c1958, so they ran the post office for nearly 20 years.
  

Fred and Elsie Flint  Outside the Post Office on Main Street in the 1950's. They ran it from about 1939-1958	Barbara Flint, daughter of Fred and Elise. On her wedding day, the spouse is George Dearing. This is at the reception in the Village Hall. 2nd April 1956.
George and Barbara's wedding at St Alban's church.  2nd April 1956 Behind Barara's shoulder is her father Fred Elsie, her mother is at the right hand end as we look at the photo. The taller page boy is David Burrell, son of Raymond and grandson of Harold.
