Cecil, Dorothy and Eric were the children of Wilstop Ellis who ran the shop on Main Street; Cecil ran the shop after Wilstrop's death.
In the 1911 census, Percy Barrick is described as living in 'The Hut' (?), Withernwick and sharing it with Leonard Gile.
Not sure were it was held the present village hall was not built until 1931.
