Percy
Barrick’s wedding to Edith ‘Emily’ Giles. Emily was the daughter of
Abraham Giles of Willow Farm) on 12th June 1915. Abraham Giles was the brother of Florence Giles who married the builder, William
Dunn of The Old White House. Florence and William’s children include
Sarah Dunn, is seated in the foreground centre, in white, without a
sash/belt, light brown hair with a centre parting.
Percy is in his army uniform, he survived the war. In the doorway is
Herbert Whisker who was killed on 3rd June 1917 and near the two men with
bowler hats is Stanley Hobson Harsley who was killed on 30th July 1916
