Hubert Harsley's Garden 1957

Hubert Harsley worked at Whitedale Station for all of his working life,
he ended up as the signal man.
In the first two photos he is wearing his station uniform.
He and his wife, Ivy, lived in one of the bungalows near the station.
He obviously spent a lot of time in his garden as we can see from the wondeful topiary.
The photo on the left is of Ivy (nee England) and Hubert.
They has three boys - Cedric, Roland and Stanley.
