Gardening

The idea of this new page is to share ideas on gardens and gardening, display photographs of gardens and share plants and other articles. As you can see I am so optimistic about this idea, I am proposing to make it into a main page

So the ideas so far are:

1) Share ideas, ask for or give advice and offer services.

2) Show photos of gardens - maybe even organise competitions based on photographs - and maybe even photos of you gardening.

3) If you grow too many plants from seed or cuttings you could use this page to share them.

4) Perhaps you're looking for that rare species of plant - you could ask here.

5) Any other ideas to do with gardening

Gardening Items - Please send me any photos etc

1 - The first new bit on here is a page of photographs finally welcoming Spring.
It has been late coming and it's not really sure yet if it has arrived.
But these photos will make you want to get that spade out and those seed sown.

2 - A slideshow of Charlie Young's garden from the 2005 Open Gardens day.

I need your opinions on this, it does seem like a good idea and I have to thank Pat Pye for suggesting it; so let me know what you think. I know there are a lot of keen and able gardeners out there so I do expect a very enthusiastic response to this exciting new idea.
